Natural Gout remedies or how to cure the pain in your Big Toe TODAY.
Have you awakened in the middle of the night with a screaming pain? If so it is likely in your big toe. It came on suddenly with little or no warning and will last for 7 to 10 days. Or that is what you will be told if you have not been to the doctor. There are several tests that need to be done to confirm you have real Gout and not pseudo Gout. That has similar symptoms but is not really Gout. Mostly you care what Gout is and what can I do about it today.
Gout is caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood that forms crystals and settles into joints, tendons, and surrounding tissues. It affects 1 to 2% of the Western populations. Men can have symptoms commonly starting at 30 but women normally not till after 50. It is a recurrent form of arthritis coming in waves or attacks of acute inflammation (red, tender, hot, swollen joint).
Treatment with NSAIDS (of which ibuprophen is one), steroids, or colchicine improves symptoms. Once the acute attack has subsided levels long term prevention with allopurinal and reduction of uric acid are usually lowered via lifestyle changes.
Do Natural Remedies Work?
Most people are unaware that doctors are not trained to cure your illness. Medical schools are turning out people trained to manage an illness. The concept is treat the symptoms make them feel better. My brother had severe gout and the doctor had him coming in every month at $85 dollars a visit and was giving him a high potency prescription that needed to be refilled every month. I could only be given for 30 days because it was so powerful etc. It turns out the prescription was for ALEVE! That was what he was given for three years. He could have gone to Sam's club and with the price of one office visit bought the three years supply of Aleve himself.
But before we became dependent on hospitals and doctors, we had to care for our own health! And before all these synthetic medications, we used natural ways to cure infections and diseases. Most families knew how to cure common ailments like gout, kidney stones and urinary tract infections. They can be cured naturally with common foods and simple remedies.
In order to cure gout, all you need to do is neutralize or flush the uric acid that is causing the pain. Here are some tips to begin your alternative treatment. Your kidneys should be processing the meats, alcohol and other substances that cause purines to develop in your system. But your lifestyle can overload them and the excess uric acid will crystallize in your joints and cause the pain. Your job is to get rid of the acid crystals, put them back into suspension (liquid state) and then pee them out.
Natural remedy to Cure Gout Pain in Toe or wherever else it is. Hands are painful as well.
1. Drink plenty of water with 8 to 10 glasses being a minimum. This will begin the process of flushing the uric acid. Beer, wine, coffee and tea do NOT count as water. Beer is one of the major things that aggravate the condition.
2. Add baking soda (1/2 teaspoon) to a glass of water two times a day will begin neutralizing the acid that is causing the pain.
3. Fish oil will help alleviate joint inflammation. You should take 2 capsules of fish oil twice a day during a flare up less between times.
4. Vitamin B complex along with a good multivitamin which will help the body do its job and convert uric acid into assorted harmless components... Try taking 350 mg daily.
5. Cherries either fresh or dried have both been shown to effectively neutralize uric acid and reduce swelling and edema. I got my brother on 12-20 cherries a day now and he has had no further flare ups of Gout.
Ice applied for 20 to 30 minutes several times a day improves pain and reduces inflammation.
Your doctor may put you on any of these and I believe you should definitely consult with a doctor on your treatment. Gout is a form of Arthritis and is a serious illness you do want to control it and not just reach for one of the quick fixes. There are more and some are very fast treatments. But do not just depend on treating the symptom and feeling good NOW. I have more information on faster remedies at the end of the article. I cannot put a whole book into a short article.
Allopurinal blocks uric acid production and is the most commonly used hypourecemic agent. Chronic therapy is safe and well tolerated and can be used in people with renal impairment or urate stones. Hypersensitivity occurs in a small number of people. Probenecid but 15 cherries a day or blueberries taste better and work well.
Probenecid is effective for treating hyperuricemia but has been found to be less effective than allopurinal. Others
Febuxostat, a non-purine inhibitor of xanthine oxidase, may be an alternative to allopurinal with equivalent effectiveness at reducing attacks of gout. The drug was approved by European Medicines Agency in 2008 and by the FDA in 2009.
If you cut down on red meats, alcohol, beer, etc it will help and certainly if you have a flare up would be wise to stop them for a while anyway. I will post a second article on things to do to cure or prevent gout. Look for it or go to this website and You Can find two very good books that you can have now risk free to help you fight this problem. They both have a 60 day guarantee on them that if you use the methods and are not satisfied you Get All your money back. http://www.natural-gout-remedies.info/ it is the cheapest way I know of to fix the problem and is fast you will feel better THAT DAY. So you may not miss work or the baseball game if you hurt and decide to take action you will be rewarded
