It was released last October as one of the most anticipated toys of the year. Argueably one of the least talked about features of the toy is the 6 minifigures that you get with the black pearl. The rumoured price of this Lego Black Pearl is said to be around $99.
The pearl comes complete with 804 tiny pieces and the 6 minigures mentioned earlier. There are many features included with the new lego black pearl, including a strong black helm, a black pirate's skeleton and a traditional pirate's flag.
The magic created in the movie series is on par with the likes of Avatar and so forth. The sight of the Black Pearl sailing through the rough and smooth makes a shiver go down the back of everyone's spine. The move is truly inspirational on all levels, appealing to both young and old, because of the sheer power of the storyline and the incredible acting of the cast.
Jack Sparrow is the captain of course! He comes complete with the ship too. It is a pirate ship from “Dead Man’s Chest” – this lego black pearl is a ship compromising of a plain black hull with a female miniature statue at the very top of the stern. Another feature of it are the black sails and two cannons on both sides of the ship.
You Can be sure that your child will not be dissapointed with this toy if they should receive it this christmas. The mini figures are adorable and full of character. All of the characters have retained all of the little individualities that they have in the films, therefore allowing children to full engage with the concept.
The Captain Jack Sparrow miniature figure is indeed a charmer. He carries with himself a sword and he wears his goatee and beard in this figure too. He arrives engrossed in a duel with Lego Davy Jones, so be careful!
Will Turner is the most loved man in the movie. He craves attention and needs to be admired. He was once a humble blacksmith but he became more than that as the story progresses. And his good heart is still very much seen through his mini figure.
To avoid arguments on christmas day, I think it would be wise to buy your child a lego black pearl. If you are a toy collector yourself, then this lego black pearl will add more variety to your collection. When people see the toy, the need to touch it.
