Do Not Miss Juicy Lucy's Steakhouse Restaurant With the Best Glenwood Springs Lobster
After dining at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant in Glenwood Springs a hundred times, I am going to finally write one of those on-line reviews for what is now the only place I eat in Glenwood.
My business requires me to drive between Grand Junction and Denver at least once a week. I stop at customers along the way – especially in the Roaring Fork Valley. Most mornings I leave Grand Junction before dawn and drive a couple hours up to Aspen, bouncing from client to client until I come back to Glenwood Springs – usually close to lunch time.

Since I was young I preferred big, countrywide chain restaurants because they are always fairly consistent. That’s a pretty good method in most parts of the country, and after meals at some local restaurants I stuck by that maxim. I like new experiences as much as anyone, but I was pretty disappointed. After several meals I decided to ask a few Glenwood Springs inhabitants what local restaurants were popular. Of course, I received many different opinions but one common theme was Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse.
The locals invariably raved over Juicy Lucy’s, and truthfully, after finding the place I immediately felt excited. By immediately I imply I was pleased even in the parking lot. Juicy Lucy’s is at the hub of the hopping Glenwood Springs downtown scene and only yards from the huge Glenwood Hot Springs pool. It is walking distance from all kinds of fun shops and turn-of-the-century architecture. Juicy Lucy’s itself is inside in a structure that was constructed during the town’s heyday as a spa destination, enhancing the historic charm. Once inside, I was impressed at how the place accommodated me and my guest. The cozy restaurant was a bustle of activity even at lunch, but the staff was friendly and attentive, and we were seated quickly.
Honestly, I have been there more times than I can count and I have never had to wait long at all – even on the few times I hit the place for supper on the way back to Grand Junction. And after being seated, the meals are exquisite. I have sampled everything from their extensive appetizer menu to their house specialties and have enjoyed it all. Juicy Lucy’s has an extensive wine selection – from the best domestics to more expensive but immaculate imports.
They have remodeled the bar area, and the place is even more appealing. Despite dozens of visits, I still stop at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant each time I go through Glenwood Springs.
