Razor Mini Bike
One popular ride on toy among kids is the Razor dirt bike. It is an item that can offer kids much excitement because it looks just like a real bike. A good deal smaller in size than an actual bike, a Razor dirt bike is not risky for kids to ride because it has speed limits as part of the design.. Before riding, you will have to charge it overnight and once completely charged, it can provide you half an hour to 45 minutes of fun.
As different bikers are of different ages and experience, there are several designs to cater to these dissimilar needs. The minimum age allowed as per the company's advice is 12 for the lowest end Razor electric dirt bike. This model in question is the MX350, which can only sprint up to 14 miles per hour with a maximum weight limit of 140lbs for the rider. It is a dirt bike that is ideal for those who are younger with not much riding skill since it has a lesser speed limit and smaller body.
For a more powerful model, there is the Razor MX650 at the other end of the line. This bike runs on a 650 watt motor, which packs more power than the MX350. This machine has a speed cap of 17 miles per hour and the maximum rider weight is also much higher at 220lbs. The MX650 utilizes 16 and 14-inch tires in comparison to the MX350. This is to be expected as it has a larger body overall. Intended for competent riders, it is recommended for those aged 16 and above.
Besides the above machines, there are also two other intermediate bikes in between. They are the MX400 and MX500 models. All these bikes, from the MX350 to MX650, are dissimilar in price with the faster ones being costlier as you progress up the product line. However, with the features being almost similar between the MX350 and MX400, the latter is not as popular among purchasers. They perhaps just do not feel that that it is worth it to pay the additional price just to get a 50-watt difference in the motor.
Lastly, make sure that you get the appropriate bike for your kid based on his age and riding skills. If your kid does not know how to ride up till now, the more you should do your homework because there are always higher risks of accidents with new riders. Even if you have the money to get the most expensive model, it may not be the most suitable for your kid after all.
