Whistler Valley Trail
Whistler's Valley Trail, is a 35 kilometre paved trail spanning between the Spring Creek area to the Emerald Estates. The multi-season multipurpose trail is popular with guests during all months of the year. 3

During the summertime, guests can bike, roller-blade, or walk to almost anywhere in the Whistler area. Popular summer stops along the trail include Lost Lake, Alpha Lake Parks, and Rainbow Beach. Biking throughout all of the trail is enjoyable and doable; however we recommend guests allocate enough time to finish the trail before sunset.
Once the snow hits the pavement, the trail converts from a biker/hiker/blader paradise, to a snow shoer/cross-country skier haven. Flat trails and beautiful scenery are attractions that serve both summer and winter vacationers. For more information visit Accommodation Whistler
At 3 meters wide, the Valley Trail offers a comfortable feeling where everyone, regardless of transportation method, can harmoniously commute & enjoy the sounds, smells, and sights together.
Trev Roote, a Recreation and Parks volunteer, is accredited for coming up with the idea of the Valley Trail. Once Whistler Blackcomb realized the value in this year round attraction, it was planned and set in motion by local architect, Tom Barratt.
Guests planning on exploring the Valley Trail are recommended to follow the trail's basic rules: keep to the right, leash your dogs, and clean up after them using the waste bags and bear-proof bins provided.
